Do you have required technology for the online tutoring?

Tutoring sessions emphasize the development of practical skills during our meetings, you’ll need to be able to actively participate in online tutoring. So in addition to a computer with a camera and a mic, you’ll need an iPad with Apple Pencil. Potentially, you could join the meeting directly from your iPad as well, so you won’t need a computer at all.

Tutoring is here to help you understand the material better, but it’s not a replacement for your classes. Remember, you’re responsible for attending your lectures, seminars, recitations, and all those other sessions your course requires!

At your request (or when it’s necessary) Victor will prepare practice questions specifically designed to address your weak areas and help you improve your skills. While your instructor might also assign homework, the textbook and homework system problems are often more general and not tailored to individual needs. That’s why it’s highly beneficial to focus on the practice questions Victor provides and make them a priority as they’re designed with you in mind!

Initial Meeting Booking*

Once you submit your application, you’ll be redirected to a scheduling page to book your initial meeting. You’ll also receive an automatic follow-up email.

Booking the initial meeting is required to complete your application. I will not look at your application or engage in extensive email conversations until I see the booking on my schedule. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I receive many applications and don’t have time to engage in endless email conversations with each potential applicant who may or may not be serious about tutoring. If you’re not seeing any openings that work for you, let me know by replying to the follow-up email and I’ll see what I can do.

Billing Policy*

I understand that if I continue with weekly tutoring after the initial no-obligation meeting, my weekly slot is reserved for me for the entire semester and is billed each week whether or not I attend. I understand that school breaks, holidays, travel, or personal conflicts do not pause billing. I also understand that the only time a session is not billed is if the tutor is unavailable or makes an error. I may request rescheduling when possible, and I may choose flexible, as-needed bookings instead of a weekly slot at any time.
