Tell me about yourself and your goals

Why are you taking organic chemistry? What are you trying to accomplish with tutoring and how you hope tutoring with me can help you achieve your goals? Describe your previous general and organic chemistry experience and any challenges you’ve encountered in your previous chemistry courses. Are you planning to continue your chemistry studies with further courses like biochemistry or advanced chemistry classes? Are you planning to take any standardized entrance exams in the future such as MCAT, DAT, PCAT, etc.?
Is there anything else you want me to know that may be important to assure success of our collaboration? Are there any learning difficulties you have? Any health-related limitations, scheduling fluctuations, extracurricular activities, or other obstacles that we’ll work around? etc.
Do you have required technology for the online tutoring?
Tutoring sessions emphasize the development of practical skills during our meetings, you’ll need to be able to actively participate in online tutoring. So in addition to a computer with a camera and a mic, you’ll need an iPad with Apple Pencil. Potentially, you could join the meeting directly from your iPad as well, so you won’t need a computer at all.
