A Friendly Reminder: my schedule fills up very quickly, so I strongly suggest you apply ahead of time to reserve a good time slot for your weekly meetings. I’m currently actively building my Fall 2025 semester schedule. Once it’s set, I’ll have very little flexibility to accommodate your schedule if you send in your application later in the semester.

I emphasize the development of practical skills during our meetings, you’ll need to be able to actively participate in online tutoring. So in addition to a computer with a camera and a mic, you’ll need an iPad with Apple Pencil. Potentially, you could join the meeting directly from your iPad as well, so you won’t need a computer at all.

Initial Meeting Booking*

Once you submit your application, you’ll be redirected to a scheduling page to book your initial meeting. You’ll also receive an automatic follow-up email.

Booking the initial meeting is required to complete your application. I will not look at your application or engage in extensive email conversations until I see the booking on my schedule. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I receive many applications and don’t have time to engage in endless email conversations with each potential applicant who may or may not be serious about tutoring. If you’re not seeing any openings that work for you, let me know by replying to the follow-up email and I’ll see what I can do.

This session is our chance to determine our compatibility. We’ll talk about:

– Your chemistry background.
– Expectations from our tutoring sessions.

While this isn’t a full tutoring session, if we have time at the end, we can certainly talk about any chemistry questions you might have.

Remember: This initial meeting is no strings attached. This meeting is meant to see if we make a good tutoring fit for weekly meetings. It’s not a free meeting though. You’ll receive an invoice and will have to pay it within 24 hours or you will lose the spot.
